• Every 20 minutes, the X59 and the X60 Express Buses leave from Edinburgh to St Andrews
• Every hour, the X26 Express Bus leaves from Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station to St Andrews

Trains

• Leuchars Train Station is seven miles from Fairmont, St Andrews Scotland. There is a good taxi service running from the station and a frequent local bus service.
• There is a train running every hour from Edinburgh Waverly and Edinburgh Haymarket. This journey takes around an hour.
• Trains run regularly from Glasgow Queen Street to Dundee and Edinburgh, where it is necessary to change. The journey takes around two hours.
• An overnight sleeper train runs from London to Leuchars, leaving London at 23:45 and arriving at Leuchars at 09:10. Alternatively, trains run several times during the day, taking roughly six hours.
