Adrenalin-pumping car racing takes place every year around the streets of Concord Pacific Place, near The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.
Celebration of Light
The largest fireworks competition in the world takes place at English Bay, Vancouver at the end of July to early August each year. It is just a 15- to 20-minute walk from The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.

Cycling
Vancouver features trails in 16 regional parks, including the popular ten-kilometer Seawall route along Stanley Park's shore and the 17-kilometer route along the Spanish Banks. Bicycles and rollerblades can be found in rental shops in downtown Vancouver.
Golf
Vancouver's mountain views, rolling green spaces, and fresh sea air are perfect for golf. There is a selection of excellent courses within a 20- to 60-minute drive from the hotel. The Concierge can assist with tee off times.
