Themed Events
Whether the event is of your choosing or you opt for one of the hotel's own themed packages, you will find facilities, amenities, and services designed with five-star standards. Themed events available at The Fairmont Kea Lani include:
"Born To Be Wild" Bikers Haven
"Born To Be Wild" Bikers Haven is designed for those free spirits with a love of the road, with two Harley-Davidson motorcycles, flaming 55-gallon trash cans, Route 66 freeway signs, and a smoke machine providing a revved-up atmosphere. Despite decor suited for a hell's angel, guests are offered heavenly cuisine at a series of food stations.
Hawaii Calls
Hawaii's history is revisited at this charming outdoor event. Traditional hula dancers, moonlit splendor, and a full menu of delicious local specialties await.
The Traditional Hawaiian Luau
Guests can experience the luau, a traditional Hawaiian feast, at The Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui's Polo Beach Lawn. Featuring tropical cocktails, authentic Hawaiian dishes, traditional ceremonies, and dramatic entertainment including the Fire Knife Dance finale, it is an unmissable occasion.
Paniolo Makawao Hoe-Down
The culture of the Old West and Hawaii meet at this unique hoe-down event. Among the saloons, wagons, cattle skulls, and sombreros is a spectacular buffet featuring Paniolo BBQ chicken, Maui-style baked beans, and Idaho baked potatoes as well as many other favorites. Fun games are also offered including horseshoe, cow-chip toss, and lasso that doggy.
Surf's Up
Set among the pristine sands of Polo Beach and its immaculate, manicured lawn, the Surf's Up event features limbo, steel drums, and Mai Tai punch served in a coconut shell to give guests a real feel for Hawaiian surfing culture. Guests can feast on an array of tropical fruit, seasonal vegetables, fresh Hawaiian snapper, and grilled-to-perfection beef tenderloins.
