The Ottawa Public Bus System is an easy way to move around the city. The Voyageur Bus Terminal is located just four kilometers (two miles) from the hotel. A taxi service from the terminal to the hotel is approximately CAD 7.00 one way.

- Cross the bridge (entering Ontario from Quebec)
- Follow the Sussex Drive exit from the bridge

- Turn right onto MacKenzie Avenue
- Fairmont Château Laurier is on the right at the corner of MacKenzie Avenue and Rideau Street
From the South (US Border / Hwy 401):
- Follow Hwy 416 North
- Exit onto Hwy 417 East towards Ottawa
- Exit Hwy 417 at the Metcalfe Street exit
- Follow Metcalfe Street to Wellington Street (at the end of Metcalfe Street)
- Turn right onto Wellington Street
- Fairmont Château Laurier is on the left after the Parliament Buildings
From the South (Hwy 31):
- Follow Hwy 31 North to downtown area
- Hwy 31 becomes Bank Street
- Follow Bank Street to Wellington Street (at the end of Bank Street)

From the East (Montreal):
