Driving Directions

Take Airport Parkway to Riverside Drive East
Exit Riverside Drive onto Hwy 417 East
From Hwy 417 East, take Hwy 174 East towards Rockland / Hawkesbury; 5 miles (8 kilometers) after Orleans, there is a streetlight on Hwy 174 in Cumberland
Turn left onto the ferry, which leaves every five minutes, 24 hours a day (cost: CAD 6.00 per car)
Go straight off the ferry to Masson-Angers, then turn right on Main Street / Hwy 148 East (towards Lachute)
Go through the villages of Thurso, Plaisance, Papineauville, and follow the signs to Fairmont Le Château Montebello
As you arrive in Montebello, you will see the main entrance gate on the right just before the intersection on Hwy 323

Driving Directions

At the terminal exit, take Hwy 20 Ouest (West) and follow directions for Hwy 40
Take Hwy 40 going west towards Ottawa and follow this route until you cross the Ontario border (Hwy 40 becomes Hwy 417 in Ontario )
Approximately ten kilometers after crossing the border, take exit 9 towards Hawkesbury, which will bring you onto Route 17
At the Best Western Heritage hotel, turn right on Tupper Street
Follow straight through to the end and turn left at the stop sign onto Main Street
Turn right at the first traffic light and cross Long Sault Bridge
Continue until the junction with Route 148
Turn left heading west towards Montebello
Cross the villages of Pointe-au-Chêne and Fassett before arriving in Montebello
As you leave the village of Montebello, you will see the main entrance gate on your left, just after the junction of Hwy 323

Guests of Fairmont Le Château Montebello arriving in their private boats and wishing to dock at the marina may do so free of charge (without hook-up facilities). Non-guests are charged CAD 2.50 per foot for overnight docking. Fees vary on Canada Day, Labor Day, and St Jean Baptiste Day.

From Montreal:

Leave Montreal by Autoroute 40 West (TransCanada Hwy)
From Dorval, take Hwy 20 West. Take first exit north to Sources Boulevard to TransCanada Hwy 40 Ouest (West)
Then, 31 miles (51 kilometers) west on Hwy 40 Ouest (West). Hwy 40 Ouest becomes Route 417 Ouest (West) once you are in the province of Ontario
Take exit 9 to Hawkesbury and turn right on Tupper Street at the Best Western Heritage hotel
Go to the end of this street and turn left at the stop sign
At the first traffic light, turn right and cross the Pont Long Sault (bridge)
Continue straight until you turn left at junction with Route 148
As you leave the village of Montebello you will see the main entrance gate on your left, just after the junction of Hwy 323

From Quebec City:

Follow directions towards Hwy 40 West
When you approach Montreal, follow directions to Hwy 640 West
Once on the 640, take the 15 North
From Hwy 15, take the exit for Hwy 50 West towards Ottawa / Hull
Follow Hwy 15 West till the junction of Hwy 148 West
You will go through the towns of Calumet, Pointe-au-Chene, Fassett, and Montebello
Fairmont Le Château Montebello is located at the end of the village on your left-hand side right after the yellow flashing light

From Toronto:

Take Hwy 401 East until the junction to Hwy 416 North (exit 721) direction of Ottawa; the junction is not far after the town of Prescott
Follow till the junction of Hwy 417 (exit 131) East, also known as the Queensway
On the 417 East, take exit 113 for Hwy 174 East toward Rockland / Orléans. This will take you towards Cumberland; you will see a sign for the ferry (Cumberland to Masson)
Cross over to Masson
On the other side, follow route 148 East towards Montebello for approximately 25 minutes
Fairmont Le Château Montebello's main entrance will be located to your right-hand side off the highway just before the village

From Ottawa:

Go across the MacDonald-Cartier Bridge
Take exit 2 for Hwy 50 East to Gatineau-Montréal
Then on Hwy 50 East, exit at George Street (exit 165) to the junction of Hwy 148 East
Hwy 148 East will take you through the villages of Thurso, Plaisance, Papineauville, and Montebello
As you arrive in Montebello, you will see the main entrance gate on the right, just before the intersection on Hwy 323

Self Parking:
Free outdoor self parking for hotel guests (or non-hotel guests who are dining in the restaurant).

Valet Parking:
For hotel guests - CAD 12.00 plus taxes per day.

Non-guests that come by the resort to visit must pay a parking charge. If they stay 30 minutes or less, the cost is CAD 4.00. Over 30 minutes is a flat rate (for the day) of CAD 8.00. The parking fee is to be paid at the booth setup at the gates of the parking lot. Guests may pay with cash or credit card (no Interac).
