Hotel Location
The hotel is conveniently located at the foot of Burrard Street, in the heart of the financial district, and Coal Harbour, across the street from the cruise ship terminal, and close to shopping and restaurants. A covered walkway connects the hotel to the newly expanded Vancouver Convention Centre.

Vancouver Convention Centre
Fairmont Pacific Rim is attached to the newly expanded Vancouver Convention Centre. With the expansion now complete, the size of the facility has tripled in size to cover 1.1 million square feet (or four city blocks) for a combined total of 473,523 square feet of pre-function, meeting, exhibition, and ballroom space. Built over land and water, with floor-to-ceiling glass throughout that treats guests to phenomenal harbour and mountain views, the new West Building is a masterpiece of design, inspiration and sustainability. The commitment to green technology can be found in every corner: the “living roof,” seawater heating and cooling, on-site water treatment and even fish habitat built into the foundation.

Vancouver International Airport is located approximately 7 miles (15 km) from the hotel (30 minute drive).

Fairmont Pacific Rim offers a full menu of dining options. ORU, a Pan-Asian bistro, provides a culinary journey around the Pacific Rim with authentic cuisine using locally sourced and responsibly harvested ingredients. Giovane, a casually-elegant Italian cafe + bakery + deli is dedicated to the serious business of coffee and serves a selection of deli sandwiches, thin-crust pizzas, house-baked pastries and scrumptious, signature cakes. The Lobby Lounge & Patio is a perfect meeting place with floor-to-ceiling fireplace and cozy leather chairs. A Fazioli piano provides live entertainment and is a perfect complement to the classic cocktails and raw bar menu. In-room dining is also available 24 hours a day.

Oru:
Derived from the Japanese word meaning "to fold," ORU showcases its culinary flair with traditional and authentic dishes from around the Pacific Rim, utilizing locally sourced and responsibly harvested ingredients. Executive chef David Wong, a recent competitor at the Bocuse d'Or culinary event in France, has created a harmonious fusion of east and west flavours in his kitchen. This free-standing restaurant features an open kitchen with two chef's tables, a private dining room, and wine tasting area with the largest sake cellar in the city, making it a tasty destination for both hotel guests and local urban diners.

Lobby Lounge and Patio:
