Calgary International Airport
Calgary International Airport (YYC) serves major US and international airlines and is approximately 19 kilometers (12 miles) from The Fairmont Palliser. It should take around 25 minutes by car.

Airport Shuttle
The shuttle is based at the arrivals level of Calgary International Airport, outside the baggage claim area. It runs every 30 to 40 minutes from 6:30 am to 11:00 pm and is priced at CAD 11.00 per person one way including tax and CAD 17.00 for a return trip; the shuttle is free for children aged 12 or under.

Local Transportation
Getting around Calgary is easy, thanks to the many underground walkways and skyways, the Calgary Transit city buses, and the Calgary HandiBus, which is available for people in wheelchairs.

Incoming guests should call +1 (403) 277-4443 to register, at which time they will be given an ID number. To book pick-ups, call bookings at +1 (403) 276-1212 (seven days in advance is maximum). Call the Calgary HandiBus Association at +1 (403) 276-2052 for bookings from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm weekends and holidays.

The closest VIA Rail station to Calgary is in Edmonton, which is approximately 292 kilometers (181 miles) to the north. To access information on routes, schedules, fares, and to book online, visit the web site.
