Airport Information

Montreal Airport
Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) - formerly known as Dorval International Airport - is Montreal's premier airport and is served by most major airlines, including direct flights from key US and European gateways. The airport is 20 to 25 minutes' drive (22 kilometers / 14 miles) from Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth.

Driving Directions

• Take Hwy 20 East to Hwy Ville Marie (#720), which takes you downtown
• Exit on Guy Street at René Lévesque Boulevard
• Turn right and continue to 900 René Lévesque for Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth

Airport Shuttle

Aérobus Shuttle Service
The kiosk is located outside the entrance to the airport. The journey to the hotel takes about 30 minutes. Travelers must buy the tickets at the main terminal. Tickets are not available at the hotel.

From the Airport:
Shuttle leaves the arrivals level every 20 minutes on the hour starting at 7:00 am until 2:00 am.

To the Airport:
Shuttle leaves every 20 minutes on the hour from the Mansfield door, from 4:00 am until 11:00 pm.

Taxis
Flat rate is CAD 35.00 one way.

Trains
The Central Train Station / Gare Centrale is located directly underneath the hotel and is also connected to our famous Underground City. Both Via Rail and Amtrak services leave from this station. They are accessible via the Lobby elevators. The Amtrak rail service from New York stops here.

VIA Rail offers train service between Montreal, Quebec City, and Toronto.

Cruise Ship Terminal
The cruise ship terminal is known as Iberville Pier. It is located in the Port of Montreal, which is a five- to ten-minute drive from Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth hotel. See also the Hydrofoil service to Quebec; this is a summertime passenger-only "cruise experience" between the old ports of the two cities.

Driving Directions

From Toronto:

• Take Hwy 401 (turns into 20 East in Quebec)
• Take exit 720 into downtown (Guy Street)
• Turn right onto René Lévesque Boulevard and proceed until Mansfield Street
• The hotel is situated at this intersection

From Ottawa:

• Take Hwy 417 East
• Connect to 40 East
• Exit on Hwy 15 / Autoroute Decarie South
• Exit on Hwy 720 / Autoroute Ville-Marie East
• Exit at Guy Street
• Turn right onto René Lévesque Boulevard
• The hotel is located nine blocks on your right, at 900 René Lévesque Boulevard West

From Fairmont Tremblant:

• Upon exiting the hotel, follow Chemin de la Chapelle and turn left on Montée Ryan (second stop sign)
• Continue straight till the highway intersection (second traffic light - 117) and turn left onto 117 South
• Continuing straight on 117, it will become Hwy 15 South (Ste-Agathe region). Continue straight till the end of Hwy 15 South
• Take the exit for Hwy 40 West (Boulevard Métropolitain)
• On the 40, stay on the left lane till the exit for Hwy 15 South / Autoroute Décarie
• From the 15, take the exit for Hwy 720 / Autoroute Ville-Marie / Centre-Ville (stay on the left lane)
• On the 720, take the exit for Guy Street
• Going north on Guy, turn right on René Lévesque Boulevard
• From there the hotel will be to your right (approximately 1 km) at the corner of Mansfield Street

From Québec City:

• Take Hwy 20 West - Champlain Bridge - exit at Bonaventure
• The highway will automatically become University Street
• At Belmont Street, turn left
• At Mansfield Street, turn right
• Continue up to René Lévesque Boulevard for the hotel

Local Transportation

Subway
Accessible below the hotel's main Lobby. The closest stops are McGill and Bonaventure, which are only a five-minute walk from the hotel.

Buses
Within the city, the STM bus network consists of 155 daytime routes, as well as 20 night service routes. The Voyageur Bus Terminal is a five- to ten-minute taxi ride from Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth.

Taxis
Taxis are readily available at both entrances of the hotel.

Parking
Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth's parking is a concession operated by Metropolitan Parking. Rates are the same for guests or visitors.

Valet Parking
Accessed via Cathcart or Belmont Streets. Prices include in / out privileges, but do not include tax.

• Overnight: CAD 24.00 until 4:00 pm the following day
• Hourly: CAD 9.00 per hour, CAD 3.00 for 20 minutes

Outdoor Self Parking
Located behind the hotel on Belmont Street and operated by a private company. Rates are similar to valet parking.
