CN Tower
Toronto's most famous landmark and the world's highest free-standing structure, with observation decks, a revolving restaurant, and providing magnificent views across the waterfront, nearby islands, and Lake Ontario. Located at 301 Front Street West, The CN Tower is within walking distance from the hotel.

Harbourfront
Toronto Harbourfront, set on Lake Ontario, features dozens of attractions, including restaurants, galleries, outdoor concerts, boat cruises and antique markets, as well as Ontario Place - an entertainment complex with a concert amphitheater, an IMAX theatre, a boat museum, and a nightclub. A ten-minute drive from The Fairmont Royal York.

Royal Ontario Museum
With galleries depicting art, archaeology, and natural science, the ROM is a vast museum showcasing the world's culture and natural history. Located at 100 Queens Park (Bloor Street and Avenue Road), the museum is approximately four minutes from the hotel.

Art Gallery of Ontario
Undergoing an expansion program until 2008, the AGO houses an impressive international art collection spanning from the Middle Ages to the present day and has the largest public collection of Henry Moore sculptures. Located at 317 Dundas Street West, the AGO is three minutes from the hotel.

Casa Loma
Dating from the early 1900s, Casa Loma is the five-acre former home of Canadian industrialist, military officer, and Edwardian financier Sir Henry Pellatt and is complete with secret passages, towers, stables, and 800-foot tunnel. Located at 1 Austin Terrace, this Toronto castle is a 15-minute drive from The Fairmont Royal York.

Niagara Falls
A day trip to Niagara Falls is a must. The magnificent Horseshoe Falls are on the Canadian side and The Maid of the Mist boats take you to the base of the thundering falls. Helicopter trips over the falls are also available. Located 1.5 hours from downtown Toronto.

Canada's Wonderland
Canada's premier theme park featuring over 200 attractions with more than 60 thrilling rides, a wide variety of roller coasters, and Splash Works, a 20-acre water park. Located outside Toronto on Highway 400, the park is approximately 30 minutes from The Fairmont Royal York.

Toronto Zoo
With more than 5000 animals representing just over 450 species, Metro Toronto Zoo is in the forested Rouge Valley, 25 miles northeast of the hotel and downtown Toronto.

Toronto Sports

Rogers Centre
Formerly known as the Skydome, Rogers Centre is home to the Blue Jays baseball team and the Toronto Argonauts football team. Located just two blocks from The Fairmont Royal York.

Air Canada Centre
Home to the Toronto Maple Leafs National Hockey League team and the Toronto Raptors National Basketball team, the Air Canada Centre is located directly across the street from The Fairmont Royal York, through Union Station and connected by an indoor walkway. Offers daily facility tours.

Hockey Hall of Fame
A collection of artifacts and trophies depicting the history of ice hockey, with memorabilia from the past and present. Located on Yonge Street, just a two-minute walk from The Fairmont Royal York.

Shopping in Toronto

Eaton Centre
One of Toronto's most famous shopping complexes, with five levels and over 320 stores and restaurants. Located on Yonge Street approximately a half-mile from the hotel.

Bloor Street West / Yorkville
This area of Toronto features designer fashion shops including Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Versace.
