WinterCity Festival
From late January into February, the WinterCity Festival is a city-wide celebration of culinary culture and diversity in the arts with free entertainment across the city.
Canada Blooms: The Toronto Flower & Garden Show
The largest flower and garden show in Canada, the prestigious Canada Blooms is held annually each March, with more than 250 exhibitors and 40 feature gardens featuring the best designs, products, and services of both amateur and professional participants.
Beaches International Jazz Festival
A traditional summer event held in July, the week-long annual jazz festival showcases talent from Canada as well as international performers, with performances stretching across the Beaches area and in various venues along Queen Street East and in Kew Gardens.
Annual Caribana™ Festival
Held in July / August of each year, Caribana™ in Toronto is the largest Caribbean festival outside the islands. All Caribbean countries are represented. More than one million people take in the King and Queen of the Bands competition, the Olympic Island Caribbean Arts Festival, concerts, cruises, and the big Caribana™ parade.
Annual Toronto International Film Festival
Held in September, the Toronto International Film Festival is second only to Cannes in terms of high-profile films, stars, and market activity. The festival offers the best in Canadian cinema and features films from more than 50 countries, screening more than 300 films in 14 programs.
Toronto Marathon
As Toronto's largest annual athletic event, the Toronto Marathon and Half Marathon draw some 12,000 participants from more than 30 countries each October. Proceeds go to Princess Margaret Hospital, MS, leukemia, POGO, and the Toronto Foundation for Student Success.
Cavalcade of Lights
A magical, month-long series of holiday events from late November throughout December. Includes dazzling light displays, live performances, fireworks, and carved ice artistry.
