Crown Room
Rising up above the ordinary is the magnificent Crown Room. Located on the top floor of the Tower, it's an elegantly soothing environment in soft celadon, sage, and pale violet with gold highlights. The room's most remarkable feature, however, is the view. Tall, wraparound windows reveal a sweeping 270-degree panorama of the Golden Gate and Bay bridges, Coit Tower, Alcatraz, downtown, and the Twin Peaks. The setting here is impressive enough, but if you really want to have the ultimate reception, opt for the Presidential Service: each table has its own waiter, and each guest is treated like royalty.

Venetian Room
The Fairmont San Francisco is a testament to luxury, with several spectacular function rooms that have been luxuriously refurbished. One of the most grand and glamorous spaces is the Venetian Room. Light and airy, with an elaborately ornamented 22-foot ceiling, this ballroom is stunning. The wall coverings are a subdued, gold damask pattern, and the carpet has accents of royal and light blue, periwinkle, and buttercup yellow.

Gold Room
Another one-of-a-kind ballroom is the dazzling Gold Room, which glitters with French Provincial detailing. Ornate, gold-leaf bas-reliefs decorate the walls, while indoor balconies reach up to the coffered ceiling. Crystal chandeliers, wall sconces, and hand-painted murals add authentic turn-of-the-century accents.

Intersect
A Fairmont Media Lounge is a 2,400-square-foot area for groups and guests to take advantage of at the hotel.In addition, being able to have small meetings and private screenings in the sleek space, guests can bond over spirited "Guitar Hero" and "Wii Golf" competitions while enjoying a delicious menu of regional selections. Developed in partnership with Bang & Olufsen (B&O), the hotel also collaborated with Electronic Arts (EA) and EMI music to provide sought-after games and music. A Microsoft Surface interactive table is available for guests to browse the Internet and play games on a table top, while a Bang & Olufsen music system and LCD HD TV with Blu-ray technology provide options for listening to music and playing games.
