Comcast San Jose Jazz Festival
Comcast is the largest free jazz festival in the United States. Around 90 performances offer a full spectrum of jazz styles. The festival lasts four days and sees over 1100 musicians on different stages playing Latin jazz, world jazz, blues, and salsa. The festival takes place every August at Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park in downtown San Jose.
San Jose Grand Prix
A key Californian sporting occasion, the San Jose Grand Prix takes place in July.
