The Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Seattle

ABOUT SEATTLE

Seattle is the largest city along the eastern shore of Puget Sound in the northwest corner of Washington State. A city of views, Seattle is one of the most popular cities in the US, with a vibrant downtown housing countless upscale restaurants and shops, a new symphony hall, opera house, and two new high-tech sports stadiums.

A must-see vista is the panorama from the top of the Space Needle at the Seattle Center. Seattle is divided into districts, each one with its own individual character. Walking around is easy, with highlights including Pike Place, the Salmon Ladder, the Ballard Locks (linking Puget Sound to lakes Union and Washington), and the houseboats made popular by Sleepless in Seattle.
