Fairmont Meetings that Matter
Every day Fairmont strives to be an outstanding, ethical employer as well as a good citizen who is respectful of the places where we work, live and play. That’s why Fairmont introduced programs that help not only our associates and colleagues but also our guests to become involved in making a difference. Meetings and conferences can have a positive impact beyond the meeting room, as companies and planners alike seek out ways to give back to the communities and destinations where they gather.
Eco-Meet, Fairmont’s green conference planning option lets planners organize events that minimize resource consumption including culinary, service, accommodation and even delegate programs.
Fairmont also provides a more hands-on approach by offering unique opportunities for meeting attendees to give back on a more personal level through the organization of special excursions such as planting trees, assisting in shelters and even helping to build homes alongside Habitat for Humanity to name a few.
For years, Fairmont has offered powerful ways for groups to leave a lasting impression, including the opportunity for planners to designate 10% of their guest room revenue to either a local charity that aligns with our commitment to community well-being and environmental sustainability or to one that resonates more closely with their guests.
