Airport Information
Vancouver International Airport
The Fairmont Vancouver Airport is conveniently located above the USA Departures Level of Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
Walking Directions
From International Arrivals Area
(Approximately a five-minute walk)
- Upon leaving International Arrivals, proceed across the arrivals area to the elevators located to the right of the exit doors.
- Take the elevator up to Level 3 - Departures Level
- Turn right at the top of the elevator, proceed straight past Starbucks coffee shop, and continue straight towards the USA Departures Hall
- Proceed through the USA Departures Hall towards the sign that says "USA Baggage Claim"
- Access to The Fairmont Vancouver Airport is on the right-hand side via stairs, escalator, or elevator. It is recognizable by the glass walkway above with the crystal chandelier
From Domestic Arrivals Area:
(Approximately a ten-minute walk)
- Upon leaving Domestic Arrivals, go north towards the escalators and up one level to Domestic Departures Level 3
- Turn right at the top of the escalator, continue east, and follow the signs to the International Terminal Departures
- Walk all the way north past the food court until you reach the end of the International Departures check-in counters
- Access to The Fairmont Vancouver Airport is on the right-hand side via stairs, escalator, or elevator. It is recognizable by the glass walkway above with the crystal chandelier
Car Rental
Car rental facilities are conveniently located just steps from the Fairmont Vancouver Airport on the ground floor of the airport parkade which includes: National/Alamo, Avis, Budget, Hertz, and Dollar/Thrifty.
Coaches / Shuttle Services
Pacific Coach Lines
Tickets may be purchased at the Pacific Coach bus counter located at International Terminal, Arrivals Level 2.
Local Transportation
Bus
The local bus service serves White Rock, Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, Aldergrove, Agassiz, Chilliwack, Harrison, Hope, Maple Ridge, Mission, and Pitt Meadows. The bus departs from the Domestic arrivals level. For schedule information, please call:

Driving Directions / Ferry Information
From Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal:
(Approximately 25 minutes)

- Follow signs from Ferry Terminal to Vancouver, Richmond, and Hwy 99
- Follow Hwy 99; proceed through the Massey Tunnel until you get to exit 39 (St Edwards Drive)
- Take a left at the lights (Bridgeport Road)
- Stay in the right lane and go over the bridge, following signs to Vancouver International Airport
- Follow signs to International Terminal Building, USA Departures, Level 3
- The Fairmont Vancouver Airport is located above the USA Departures Level within the International Terminal
From the US Border (Peace Arch Border Crossing):
(Approximately 35 minutes)
- I-5 becomes Hwy 99 as you come through the border
- Follow Hwy 99; proceed through the Massey Tunnel until you get to exit 39 (St Edwards Drive)
- Take a left at the lights (Bridgeport Road)
- Stay in the right lane and go over the bridge, following signs to Vancouver International Airport
- Follow signs to International Terminal Building, USA Departures, Level 3
- The Fairmont Vancouver Airport is located above the USA Departures Level within the International Terminal
From Whistler:
(Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes)
- Take the Taylor Way exit
- Go left at the bottom of the hill (Marine Drive)
- Stay in the right lane and go over the Lions Gate Bridge
- Proceed straight along Georgia Street
- Turn right on Howe Street; this will take you over the Granville Street Bridge
- Proceed along Granville Street and over the Arthur Liang Bridge
- Stay in the left lane and follow signs to the airport
- Follow signs to International Terminal Building, USA Departures, Level 3
- The Fairmont Vancouver Airport is located above the USA Departures Level within the International Terminal

Parking Information
The Fairmont Vancouver Airport is a tenant of the airport and therefore airport parking rates apply.
Valet Parking
Gateway Valet offers valet parking (includes in / out privileges) at a rate of CAD $30.25/ a night including taxes. Guests can either charge parking to the room or pay at the lot directly with cash, Visa, Amex, or MasterCard.
Self Parking
The airport has three self parking options - long-term, economy, and the YVR Terminal parkade. Each includes in / out privileges. When attending a meeting at The Fairmont Vancouver Airport the YVR Terminal Parkade rates are situated at $10.00/night inclusive of taxes. Furthermore, prearranged parking passes may be charged to the master account for P1, P2, & P3.
